For my final project I created a tunic dress with my original computer rendered print. I included thre magnetic closures on the front lapel to make an easier opening for those who may not have two arms to easily maneuver buttons. I explored the concept of heat-set folds in a polyester fabric. I used the heat press machine to create fold lines so that one of the sleeves could be worn up in a visually appealing way to showcase a prosthetic limb. It could also be worn down in a more discrete way.
I 3-D printed an arm in 4 pieces. I then sanded and glued pieces together, painted and added laser cut acrylic that I heat molded to fit the curves of the arm. The blue designs are supposed to represent an artistic prosthetic limb.
